In 2015, Lil Wayne's tour bus was shot up after it left an Atlanta club. Luckily, no one was injured.

Young Thug's former tour manager Jimmy Carlton Winfrey (aka PeeWee Roscoe) was arrested for the shooting. Later that year, he pled guilty and got a 20-year sentence.

Young Thug and Birdman had both been beefing with Wayne at the time of the shooting and both were named in the criminal indictment as conspirators. Additionally, there were reports Winfrey was going to rat Thugger and Baby out

Earlier this summer, Winfrey's conviction was overturned on a technicality.

Now WSB-TV's Mike Petchenik, who's been on the story from the beginning, has Tweeted out that the Cobb County's District Attorney may still charge Thug and Birdman in the shooting.

"BREAKING:  #Cobb DA's office tells me they will decide in "next few weeks" whether to charge Birdman, Young Thug in shooting of Lil' Wayne's tour bus," he types.

The civil suit Petchenik mentioned is likely the emotional suffering lawsuit the tour bus's driver Alvin Lewis brought in 2016 against Young Thug, Birdman, Peewee Roscoe, Cash Money Records, and Young Money Records.

This all comes during a bad time for Thug, who in a separate incident was just charged with eight felonies, including possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone, and weed.
