His face covering is from Blue Lives Matter, a non-profit organization which promotes police interests
Trey Songz said Harden was a "certified clown" for donning the mask during these times of tension between the cops and the Black community.
This certified clown shit. I’ll say it for everybody who scared to. FOH https://t.co/pVRMaL9dPG

However, Harden's buddies Young Thug and Meek Mill pled ignorance on Harden's behalf.
Just so u know James harden is my brada... btw he don’t have internet so he obviously don’t know what’s right or wrong if he posted something that’s against US...but I hate when rappers get in niggas biz like it’s can’t happen to em💥 buster let niggas clear they shit up activist

Y’all know damn well Jh don’t know what that mask meant because I don’t! He donate millions in real life to our people! End of story.

"Just so u know James harden is my brada... btw he don’t have internet so he obviously don’t know what’s right or wrong if he posted something that’s against US...but I hate when rappers get in n*ggas biz like it’s can’t happen to em💥 buster let n*ggas clear they sh*t up activist," Thugger typed.
Activist Meek agreed ... at least on Harden.
We guess it's not out of the realm of possibility that Harden is oblivious to anything that's not a basketball court or a on a strip club pole.
Update: Harden says he just wore the mask because it covers his beard.
James Harden addressed the "Blue Lives Matter" mask that he wore yesterday. Saying it was not meant to make a political statement and that he wore it because it covers his beard.
