DJ Akademiks Clowns Yung Bans Over His Dismal Sales

Yung Bans' debut album Misunderstood dropped two Fridays ago.

If you didn't know that, you're not alone. Nobody streamed, let alone bought, the major label project.

Bans had been beefing with media personality DJ Akademiks before going plastic. Ak was more than happy to point out the young ATLer's epic failure by beaking down his lack of numbers.

Bans is only 20, so there is time for him to recover from this sales debacle. The Migos are an example of an act that flopped at first but bounced back.  Although their disappointing 18K first week for their 2015 debut Yung Rich Nation is still a lot better than what Bans put up. Bans is in Troy Ave territory with his sub-4500 opening.
