Grime Rapper Solo 45 Guilty Of Filming Rapes & Torture

Solo 45, a British rapper with ties to Grime legend Skepta and his Boy Better Know crew, has been found guilty of raping, torturing and imprisoning four women. 

The jury in the case was played videos of the 33-year-old  interrogating the women about previous sexual partners, slapping them, insulting them, and raping them.

He was convicted of 21 counts of rapes, five counts of false imprisonment, two counts of assault by penetration and two counts of assault causing bodily harm.

"Each suffered in similar ways at different times at the defendant's hands," Prosecutor Christopher Quinlan told the court. "He filmed, using his mobile phone, a great deal of what he did. "He is a sadist who derives satisfaction and sexual pleasure from inflicting pain and suffering."

Solo 45 had argued that he likes rough sex and the women were willing participants.

His sentencing date will be determined after a psychological examination.
