You may have heard about Seattle's controversial CHOP zone, a six-block area in the city's Capitol Hill region that police abandoned during the George Floyd protests.
The protestors now control the zone, but their rule hit a snag this weekend when two people were shot.
One of them, local rapper Lil Mob, died from his injuries. The other is in critical condition.
Police say they tried to enter the CHOP area after hearing the shots fired. However, they were rebuffed and told that CHAZ medics had already taken the victims to the hospital.
It is believed Mob was targetted by someone who had beef with him.
Lil Mob was 19. RIP.
