Last month, we got word that Hip Hop's hottest free agent NBA YoungBoy was going to sign with Motown.

This came at a time when all signs pointed to YB throwing caution to the wind and signing with Cash Money and Birdman, who would prefer not to pay his rappers.

Baby has a close relationship with YB and is said to call him every day

But now it's official.  YoungBoy is on Motown.

According to Billboard:

"YoungBoy Never Broke Again is headed to Motown, sources familiar with the situation tell Billboard.
Headed from Warner Music Group’s Atlantic Records — where he released four official studio albums and many more mixtapes — YoungBoy will begin releasing music on the Universal Music Group-owned Motown in 2023."

Last year, YB's Never Broke Again collective signed a global joint venture with Motown.

Now he'll be dropping his numerous albums and tapes on the label.

Financial terms weren't disclosed but the number $60 million had been batted around.
