NBA Youngboy's involvement in a deadly shooting at Florida's Rolling Loud festival earlier this year triggered the probation on the ten year suspended sentence YoungBoy got after pleading guilty in 2017 to a 2016 Baton Rouge driveby.

There was some chatter that he might have to serve the entire ten years.

It looks like he will get out a lot sooner than that.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office in Louisiana has told XXL that YoungBoy will be released on August 15.

That's the good news. The bad news is that he will be under house arrest for 14 months, forced to wear an ankle bracelet, and forbidden from performing.

He would also be wise to stay off of social media as his probation judge has been actively monitoring his pages for any threats or violent content.
