It's so far been hard to tell the effect the Coronavirus is having on records sales.

Artists like The Weeknd and Lil Uzi Vert have put up huge numbers, whereas Blueface, Rich The Kid and Jay Electronica have greatly disappointed.

It doesn't seem like we're going to learn much from this week's Hip Hop releases from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Joyner Lucas.

Billboard projects that PARTYNEXTDOOR is set to sell 45k copies of PARTYMOBILE first week, which is similar to the 50K his last album P3 did in 2016.

Lucas's debut album ADHD is set for 30K.  That's a bit light for a rapper of Joyner's stature.  Then again, the Massachusetts spitter is likely thought of more a singles/novelty rapper than he is an album artist.

As for The Weeknd ... he is expected to follow up his 440K opening week with another six figures and a second straight week at number 1.
