He may not be as visible as some other rappers, but that doesn't mean people aren't listening to Logic's music a lot.
On Instagram, the DMV emcee revealed that his songs have been streamed a billion times, which is an incredible feat for any recording artist.
DJBooth did its own investigation to see if the rapper's numbers were correct, and it turns out they were. According to the site, Logic's music was steamed 1.1 billion times on Spotify alone.
Later this year, Logic will drop his new album AfricAryaN, which will touch on his biracial upbringing.
"It's about me being black and white and seeing life from two sides and about the cultural evolution and how you can go from the darkest of skin to the lightest of skin," he said on Dan Harmon's podcast Harmontown. After that interview, some folks on Twitter blasted the rapper for equating cultural evolution with skin color. Regardless, he's still sitting pretty with those ridiculous streaming numbers.
